Approaches used by REDO
The above mentioned activities are carried out through a maximum community planning and participatory approach, emphasised and agreed upon in the time of mobilisation and sensitisation efforts by local community leaders in collaboration with REDO.
REDO recognizes that the social and economic problem of the human population have a direct bearing on the wildlife habitat and the social-economic circumstances of the local people.
REDO believes that these issues can be addressed by working together with communities to plan with them, work with them, evaluate with them and ultimately, hand over the project to them.
This also facilitates the success of the conservation technology and the growth of self-help initiative in community basis.
